Large Wall Art

After some serious prodding by a dear artist friend, I have decided to go ahead and take his advice of making Metallugy into a large area presentation piece.

It will be enlarged from the original 24″h x 36″w size to a 40″ x 60″ enlargement that with be broken up into 10″ x 10″ stretched and wrapped on 1-1/2″ stretcher bar tiles at a 4 high x 6 wide configuration. The digital file is of such a high resolution that total image quality will be maintained.

I met a lady the other day driving, who is in charge of Art in Public Places for the City of San Francisco that really liked my art and said she’d find a place for me to hang the pieces. It would be very nice indeed and we will see.

Jeff Allyn-JDArts is a collection of modern abstract expressionism oil paintings depicting land-scapes, sea-scapes, space-scapes and mind-scapes. The site is also an art blog about how the works are or were created. It is also a collection of photographic studies of the sea and sky I live in.

Original paintings and Giclee archival quality prints are availableat Etsy. There is also a new line of photographic prints in the works like the Angel Feather image you see here.

This is a new interactive and responsive website. It is a collection repository for my art and a forum for us all to participate with ideas and comments about what is here and how it was made.
